📝 Job Overview

Shridhr & Associates is looking for a Junior Accountant to assist the finance team with accounts payable, month-end closing, rent calculation, reconciliations, and reporting. This role requires excellent Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and basic accounting knowledge.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable (AP): Verify vendor invoices, monitor payment timelines, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies.

• Month-End Provisions: Prepare and post accruals for expenses like rent, utilities, and other recurring costs.

• Rent Calculations: Maintain rent schedules and calculate monthly rent.

• Accounting Support: Post journal entries, prepare reconciliations, assist in audits.

• Excel & Reporting: Create templates, trackers, and analyze financial data using advanced Excel features.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience (AP or general accounting preferred).

• Degree in commerce, accounting, or related field.

• Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, etc.).

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and general ledger.

• Familiarity with ERP systems like D365, SAP, or Tally (preferred).

• Must be based in Mumbai.
